CHAIRMAN MALOKU HOSTED AT THE MEETING THE REPRESENTATIVES OF THE REGIONAL PROJECT FOR MONITORING JUDICIAL PROCESSES
Prishtinë, 9 October 2023 – The Chairman of the Prosecution Council of Kosovo (KPK), Mr. Jetish Maloku, has hosted the representatives of the regional Project for the monitoring of judicial processes, which is implemented by the OSCE, with the support of the European Union (EU) Office in Kosovo.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the intensification of cooperation, in order to further advance work processes by supporting international partners in issues of special interest, such as the fight against corruption and organized crime.
On this occasion, Chairman Maloku, thanking the representatives of this project, emphasized the need for mutual commitment for the advancement and further expansion of cooperation in the field of issues related to the fight against organized crime and high-profile corruption in the Republic of Kosovo.
In the context of today's conversation, it was discussed about the report of findings and recommendations during the monitoring of court hearings and the ways in which these recommendations will be implemented by the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and other institutions of the judicial system in Kosovo.
At the end of this meeting, the Chairman of the KPC and the representatives of the OSCE and the EU agreed on the continuation of cooperation and the implementation of the recommendations of this report.
