The Special Prosecution has requested the detention of seven persons
Prishtina, 18 May 2021 - The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo (SPRK), announces the opinion that today it has made a request to the Basic Court in Prishtina, for the detention of seven (7) persons, who were detained on 17 May 2021, regarding the action where 400 kg of cocaine were seized.
The Special Prosecution Office made the request due to the suspicion that they have committed the criminal offenses "Participation and organization of an organized criminal group" under article 277 par. 1 of the CCRK, in connection to the criminal offense "Unauthorized possession of narcotics, psychotropic substances or analogous ” from article 269 par. 1 in connection with article 275 par. 1 point 1.1 and 1.9 of the CCRK and in relation to the criminal offense“ Unauthorized possession, control or possession of weapons ” from article 366 par. 1 of the CCRK .
