Indictment for abuse of official position or authority and unlawful deprivation of liberty
Prishtinë, February 24, 2021- The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has filed an indictment in the Basic Court in Prishtina - Special Department, against the defendants with initials D.G, V.K, and Rr.S. for the criminal offense "Abuse of official position or authority" and "Unlawful deprivation of liberty".
The Special Prosecution Office informs that the indictment was filed because the well-founded suspicion was proved, that the defendants D.G, V.K have committed the criminal offense “Abuse of official position or authority.
Meanwhile, the defendant Rr.S, has committed the criminal offense, "Abuse of official position or authority" under article 422 par. 1 and the criminal offense "Illegal deprivation of liberty" under article 196 par. 1 in connection with par. 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, in the indictment, has proposed that after the administration of all the evidence in the main trial, the defendants be found guilty of the criminal offenses and sentenced according to law.
