Indictment for attempted coercion
Prishtinë, June 19, 2020 – The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has filed indictment by the Basic Court in Prishtina - Special Department, against E.H. due to the criminal offense "Attempted coercion" under article 328 par. 2 in connection with par. 1 in connection with article 28 of the CCRK.
The Special Prosecution reports that defendant E.H. from June 2019 to 10.03.2020, in order to illegally benefit from property gain, attempted to force the injured party B.P. to act to the detriment of his property, using the serious threat that he will be tried by the Special Court in The Hague if he does not hand over the required amount of money, in such a way that he has been falsely presented as an accomplice and influential person to the specialized prosecutors of the Special Court in The Hague, so I will present the evidence in the cases imagined against him and first ask for the amount of 850,000.00 euros, then the amount of 360,000.00 Euros and finally 190,000 .00 euros.
Also, defendant E.H. has sent a message to the victim's daughter with the content "Your father is in danger and you can avoid the situation", all these actions in order for the injured party to hand over the required amount of money for which the injured party B.P. informs the police and that with the operative work of the Kosovo Police, DHKR in Prishtina, on 10.03.2020, the defendant E.H is arrested and his offense remains attempted.
With these actions the defendant E.H. has committed the criminal offense "Attempted coercion" under article 328 par. 2 in connection with par. 1 in connection with the article 28 of the CCRK.
