Indictment for attempted murder
Gjilan, January 21, 2020 - The Basic Prosecution in Gjilan has filed an indictment against defendant A.M., due to the criminal offense of “Attempted Murder”, who is in custody since January 31, 2019.
According to the indictment, Defendant A.M., on December 30, 2019, at approximately 4:20 pm, attempted to deprive of life the injured party S.J., in a way that near the house of the injured party, in the village of Cernice. After a verbal conflict, the latter was stabbed six times with the same knife, in the back and shoulders, to whom bodily harm was caused.
The injured party was initially taken to Gjilan Regional Hospital because of injuries received and then transferred to UCCK in Pristina.
With these actions, the defendant A.M. committed the criminal offense of “Attempted Murder”, under Article 172 in conjunction with Article 28 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
