President has decreed three prosecutors on district level
Prishtina, 22nd of February 2012 – The President of Republic of Kosovo, Miss Atifete Jahjaga has decreed today three prosecutors in District Prosecutors` Offices.
Prosecutors, who today have given oath in front of President Jahjaga, are: Mr. Afrim Shefkiu, Prosecutor in District Prosecutor Office in Gjilan, Mr. Bajram Hamitaga and Mr. Murtez Jahaj Prosecutors in District Prosecutor Office in Prizren.
Their decree is done based on article 84 point 18 of the Constitution of Republic of Kosovo and based on article 19 paragraph 1 of Law Nr. 03/L-224, for Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, as well as based on proposals received by Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
With the decree of three new Prosecutors, Kosovo will now have 94 local Prosecutors in total.
