THE SPECIAL PROSECUTION HAS TARGETED THREE NEW CASES
Under the leadership of Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution, Blerim Isufaj, the joint team held a meeting for the selection and targeting of Serious Crimes, thus three (3) new cases were targeted with thirty (30) people involved in different criminal offences.
The Special Prosecution announces that seven (7) people were involved in the first case, of which four (4) are in custody and three (3) are under house arrest for the criminal offense of "Accessing computer systems", from article 327 of the CCRK, "Fraud", from article 23 and "Money Laundering", from article 302 of the CCRK and the criminal offense "Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons", from article 366, paragraph 1 of the CCRK. In this case, 257,540.00 euros, seven (7) cars, nine (9) telephones, computers and computer equipment, one (1) long gun and one (1) pistol were confiscated.
Also, we inform you that in the second case nineteen (19) people were involved, three (3) of them are in custody for the criminal offense "Import, export, supply, transportation, production, exchange, brokering or unauthorized sale of weapons or of explosive materials", from article 364 and 31 of the CCRK and "Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons", from article 366, paragraph 1 of the CCRK. Thirty-five (35) guns, four (4) cars, six hundred and fifty (650.00) euros, two (2) phones and cartridges of different calibers were confiscated.
Meanwhile, in the third targeted case, four (4) people are involved for the criminal offenses "Misuse of official position or authority", from article 414 and "Giving assistance", from article 33 in the commission of the criminal offense "Misuse of position or official authority.
