Motion for application of detention on remand against a defendant for the criminal offense of “Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic substances and analogues”
Gjakova, April 4, 2024 - The Basic Prosecution Office in Gjakova, Department for Serious Crimes, announces to the public that, against the defendant with the initials XH.B., has taken a Decision to start the investigation and submitted a motion to impose measure of detention on remand for a duration of 30 days.
According to the motion of the Prosecution, among other things, it is stated that there is a well-founded suspicion that the defendant at his home, without authorization and for the purpose of sale or distribution, possessed substances or preparations which are declared by law as narcotics, psychotropic substances and analogues, during the search of the house, five plastic bags with suspected cocaine-type narcotic substance were found and seized, also three plastic bags with cocaine-type narcotic substance were found and seized in the backyard, a digital scale and four mobile phones, all seized and with these actions the suspicion is formed that the defendant has committed the criminal offense of unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogous substances under Article 267 par.2 of the CCRK.
