The Acting Chief State Prosecutor and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands discuss strengthening the rule of law
Prishtinë, 13 March 2024 – Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Besim Kelmendi, received in a working meeting the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kosovo, Her Excellency, Mrs. Carin Lobbezoo.
During this meeting, the Acting Chief State Prosecutor and the Dutch Ambassador discussed issues that include the rule of law, namely the commitment of the State Prosecutor's institution in the fight against corruption.
The daily challenges of the work of prosecutors, the progress of reforms resulting from the joint declaration of commitment of justice institutions, the possibility of holding training programs for prosecutors and other professional issues of common interest were also the subject of joint discussions.
In the end, acting Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Besim Kelmendi, has thanked the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Mrs. Carin Lobbezoo, for the help that this country has given and continues to give continuously for the prosecutorial system of the Republic of Kosovo.
