Honoured Minister Kuçi, Chairman Hasani, Chairman Peci,
Honoured attendees and You, who today are delighted for this precious moment of Your professional career,
It is a particular pleasure to participate on behalf of State Prosecutor and Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, in this distinguished ceremony marking your achievements in passing the Bar Exam. Today is a special moment, not only for You as professionals, but for the entire justice system, too.
In order to achieve to be here today, you have gone through plenty and not easy challenges, but very soon you will notice that your investment for obtaining the qualification of the Jurist by passing the Bar Exam, will open to you new doors and perspectives within the justice system.
Today, I, have the opportunity to encourage you in the path you have chosen, which will not be with no problems, just the way it is with other professions as well. The duty of the Jurist that has obtained the Bar Exam, depending from your dedication and your work, very soon may be transformed in the work of Judge and Prosecutor.
What should be in the focus of the attention of your activity is indeed the professional career in the function of the Law, which today undoubtedly is perceived as such and by the civil society, media, but citizens of our country as well.
Everybody`s eyes are oriented in the justice, and this is not so without any reason, because often they do not find justice. We are used to discuss endlessly: when meeting with Judges we discuss the need and necessity for serving justice; when we meet with Prosecutors we discuss those matters; when we enter in a Health Institution, justice is required there as well; when talking to education sector, regardless if high school level or senior level, justice is sought as well; the ones inside the prison walls seek justice too, by addressing letters to Minister of Justice, and to my Office, too.
State Prosecutor is strengthening communication with all parties writing for justice system, with the purpose of assessing their concerns, but also to evaluate the actions of the carriers of judicial functions.
Today, you possess one more qualification and this should motivate you to carry on with upgrading your knoweldge, in order to be more prepared to challenge the justice serving, wherever you may be.
Passing the Bar Exam demonstrates your professional preparing, which is very important and presents the opportunity for your incorporation inside the judicial and prosecutorial system; and your decision-making oriented towards the judicial and prosecutorial system will be highly appraised by our side.
Courts and Prosecutions are institutions in which a Law professional may give the biggest contribution, because inside those Institutions are daily challenges and there are arenas in which on daily basis are faced claims of the parties in the procedure.
Laws that you will be applying are forces that make the human being raise the head over the simple survival, to request to be an owner, to upgrade the knowledge and to cheer to the existence for aspiring more.
Honoured attendees,
Justice system, and prosecutorial system of the Republic of Kosova in particular, needs new professional capacities that will be courageous and that will have integrity.
Therefore, I am telling you that our expectations from you from now on are higher, and I have the conviction that we are having legal professionals with integrity, but who will have to demonstrate courage in actions as well, because the justice is true only when it acts.
Starting from where you stand today, you will carry on with providing higher professional services, and for the future I encourage you to be part of the competition to be incorporated in the prosecutorial system in the capacity of the Prosecutor or part of the prosecutorial staff.
Lastly, regardless your choice, I would like to see your engagement being part of the pure moral function of the professionalism and, towards increasing the trust of the citizens in the justice system.
