Accomplishments are appreciated, systematic commitment is required for handling corruption cases and economic crimes
Prishtinë, 1 June 2023 – The Supervisory Commission for the Matters of Corruption and Economic Crimes, led by the chairman Arian Gashi, together with the members of the Commission, the prosecutors Laura Pula and Arben Ismajli, as well as the Coordinator of the Permanent Commissions of the KPC, Besim Kusari, visited the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Prizren, where they were received by the Deputy Chief Prosecutor of this prosecution, Ariana Shajkovci.
Consequently, the purpose of this visit was to review the quarterly report for the period January-March 2023 and to discuss the challenges of handling corruption cases and economic crimes that fall within the scope of this prosecution.
During the visit, the achievements so far in this prosecutor's office were evaluated, in which case it was discussed regarding the process of carrying out cases of corruption and economic crimes, requesting further commitment for the treatment of these cases that belong to the year 2022 and 2023.
