ANOTHER PERSON IS ARRESTED AS A SUSPECT FOR THE MURDER OF OLIVER IVANOVIĆ
Prishtinë, October 20, 2022 - By order of the Special Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kosovo, the Kosovo Police arrested last night a person with the initials M.M., of Serbian nationality.
The Special Prosecutor's Office announces that the defendant M.M., suspected as a member of an organized criminal group, has actively participated in the commission of the criminal offense "Participation or organization of an organized criminal group" from article 283 par. 3 related to paragraph 1 of the CCRK, related to the criminal offense "Aggravated Murder" according to article 179 paragraph 1.9 of the KPRK, in the murder of the now deceased Oliver Ivanovic, together with the other accused N.S., M.R., R.B and S.A., who are being tried in the Basic Court in Pristina.
Also, the same since the beginning of 2019, has been inaccessible to the prosecution, even though there was an Arrest Warrant in force, so on 19.10.2022, in the evening, he was arrested by the Kosovo Police.
For the same, according to the Criminal Procedure Code, the procedures will proceed, within the legal terms, a request will also be filed for the determination of the measure of detention, so that the criminal procedure can proceed without obstacles.
