UNAUTHORIZED IMPORT, EXPERT, SUPPLY, TRANSPORT, PRODUCTION, EXCHANGE, BROKERING OR SALE OF EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS
Prishtina, October 17, 2022 - The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo (SPRK), has filed an indictment in Prishtina Basic Court - Special Department, against the defendant D.M.
The Special Prosecutor's Office announces to the public that the defendant D.M. while entering the Republic of Kosovo, at Jarinja border crossing point, between Kosovo and Serbia, he acted in violation to the applicable Law regarding weapons or explosive materials, so that for the purpose of import and export, he possessed four (4) ammunition packages with four thousand (4000) cartridges in the trunk of the VW Golf 3 car, also in the house of the accused, an AK 47 weapon and three (3) magazines were found.
With these actions, the defendant D.M. has committed the criminal offenses " Unauthorized import, export, supply, transport, production, exchange, brokering or sale of weapons or explosive materials" from article 364, paragraph 2 related to paragraph 1 of the KPRK, as well as " Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons" from article 366 par. 1 of the CCRK.
