CANDIDATES’ QUALIFICATION TEST FOR STATE PROSECUTORS HELD

Prishtina, September 17, 2022 - The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC) has organized today the Qualifying Test, as the next step in the recruitment process of twenty-two (22) prosecutors at the Basic Prosecution Offices of the Republic of Kosovo, this test was held at the Kosovo Academy for Public Sacurity in Vushtrri.

In advance, due to the implementation of full transparency, in the presence of local and international observers and monitors, on the day of holding this test, the Commission for the Recruitment of State Prosecutors has drafted the questions for the candidates who won the right to participate in this testing.

333 candidates (six (6) from the non-majority community) participated in this test, who had the opportunity to apply through the online file management system, through the submission of physical copies, by email and regular mail.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the KPC, at the same time the Chairman of the Commission, Jetish Maloku, accompanied by other members of the Commission, in the capacity of the Chairman of the Commission for the Recruitment of State Prosecutors, supervised the entire process of holding Qualifying Test.

Within the monitoring and observation process, Prosecutors from the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, Chief Prosecutors of Prosecution Offices at country’s level, Prosecutors delegated by the Appellate Prosecution Office, the Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo, the Basic Prosecution Offices and representatives of international partners among EULEX, OSCE and EUKOJUST.

After holding the Qualification Test for the recruitment of new prosecutors, the other stages of the general test will be organized according to the most advanced standards, which consist of the Written Test and the interview of the candidates.
