The 215th meeting of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council is held
Prishtinë, 17 May 2022 – The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), chaired by Jetish Maloku, held its 215th consecutive meeting, at which a number of agenda items were approved.
This meeting of the Council began with the reporting of the Chief Prosecutors of the Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, who reported on the activities carried out in the period January-March 2022.
Also, KPC members approved the Annual Report of the inter-institutional tracking mechanism for characteristic criminal offenses for 2021 and decided to make the announcement for permanent transfer to the general departments of seven (7) prosecutors in the Basic Prosecution of Prishtina and one (1) prosecutor in the Basic Prosecution of Ferizaj.
The decision of the KPC for the Commission for Transfer and Promotion of State Prosecutors has also been amended, in which case instead of the former Chief State Prosecutor. Mr. Aleksandër Lumezi, was appointed Acting Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Besim Kelmendi, in the capacity of the chairman of this Commission.
In this meeting of KPC were treated three (3) disciplinary cases, for which the relevant decisions will be made public as provided by law.
