INDICTMENT FOR THE CASE "SUBSIDIES I"
Prishtinë, 22 February 2022 – The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo (SPRK) has filed an indictment in the Basic Court in Prishtina - Special Department, against twenty-one (21) defendants in the case known as "Subsidies I" for the criminal offenses "Abuse of official position or authority" 'from article 414 of the CCRK, “'Taking a bribe” 'from article 421 of the CCRK, “Fraud in office” from article 419 of the CCRK, “Giving bribe” from article 422 of the CCRK, "Fraud with subsidies" from article 324 of the CCRK and "Falsification of documents" from article 390 of the CCRK.
The indictment was filed against 11 defendants L.S; S.SH; B.N; H.M; K.Z; H.D; A.B; J.S; L.H; M.N; A.A; S.K. as official persons and against 10 defendants S.S; B.K; F.M; D.M; F.Z; D.K; K.B; A.A; F.N. as beneficiaries of subsidies.
The defendants by committing criminal offenses have illegally benefited the amount of 646,250.00 euros, while the value of bribes (corruption) that have benefited officials is 316,650.00 euros.
The Special Prosecution has proposed confiscation of the property gained by committing criminal offenses, that reaches the amount the value of money about five hundred thousand (500,000.00) euros, as well as some vehicles.
