Indictment for organizing and participating in a terrorist group
Prishtinë, 7 December 2021 – The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has filed an indictment in the Basic Court in Prishtina - Special Department, against the defendant with the initials K.D.
The Special Prosecution Office informs the public that the above-mentioned defendant intentionally participated in the activity of the terrorist organization, in such a way that he and his wife joined the fighters of the terrorist organization, militant, extremist ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and the Sham) , actively participating in the activities of this organization as a sniper trainer. The defendant K.D. was subsequently arrested and imprisoned by the Syrian Democratic Forces, and on July 17, 2021, he was transferred to Kosovo in an organized manner.
With these actions, the defendant has committed the criminal offense "Organization and participation in a terrorist group" under Article 143 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
