At the request of the Special Prosecution, seven people were arrested and considerable weapons were seized
Prishtina, 14 April 2021 - At the request of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo (SPRK), today’s search action was conducted in several cities of Kosovo, where seven (7) persons were arrested for various criminal offenses.
The Special Prosecution announces that seven (7) persons S.K, H.N, S.A, S.N, T.R, F.A and H.A, have been arrested for having committed the criminal offenses "Import, export, supply, transportation, unauthorized production, exchange, mediation or sale of weapons or explosives ” from article 364 par. 2 in connection with par. 1 of the CCRK, in relation to the criminal offense“ Participation or organization of an organized criminal group ”from article 277 par. 1 of the CCRK -së.
Also, during the search in different locations were found and seized a significant amount of weapons and various items which will serve as material evidence for the prosecution in further proceedings.
Location 1- found and seized
Two (2) mobile phones, one (1) rifle, seven (7) cartridges.
Location 2 - found and seized
One (1) mobile phone hase been seized
Location 3, found and seized : one (1) rifle, one gun , one (1) box of weapons cleaners as well four (4) cleaning rods
Location 4, found and seized:
Four (4) guns
One thousand one hundred and fifty (1.150) cartriges of various calibers
One (1) phone
Location 5, found and seized:
One (1) rifle
One gun
One hundred and ten (110) cartriges
Weapon parts
Two (2) phone
Location 6, found and seized the following items:
One (1) gun
Fortytwo (42) cartiges
One (1) notebook for notes
Weapon cleaners and
One (1) phone
Location 7, found and seized:
Two (2) hunting rifles
Two (2) cartriges
Two (2) weapons permits and
A (1) phone
Whereas from the location 8 , a phone was found and seized.
Also, the Special Prosecution Office announces that within the legal deadlines it will make a request for detention on remand against the arrested persons.
