Prosecutorial Council reaction to the threat of prosecutor Naim Abazi
Prishtina, 14 April 2021 - The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council strongly condemns the threat against the prosecutor of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo, Naim Abazi.
The threat against the prosecutor is completely unacceptable and is aimed at hindering the exercise of his constitutional and legal function.
The Prosecutorial Council strongly supports the prosecutor Naim Abazi and offers full support for his work during the exercise of the function in prosecuting perpetrators of criminal offenses.
The KPC assures the public that threats against prosecutors will not deter ongoing intentions and efforts to strengthen the rule of law, while the competent authorities are acting on the priority treatment of this criminal case.
