Profiled trainings of KPC members, topic of discussion between the Chairman of the KPC and representatives of the British project

Prishtina, 23 February 2021 - The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Jetish Maloku, received in a meeting the Director of the British project for strengthening the judicial system in Kosovo, Ken Taylor and the expert for institutional development, Steve Pits, which was also attended by the Executive Director of the Academy of Justice, Enver Fejzullahu and the General Director of the KPC Secretariat, Lavdim Krasniqi. 

The focus of this meeting was the discussion of the organization of trainings for members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council regarding the processes of recruitment, transfer and promotion of prosecutors, these trainings, which will be held in cooperation with the Kosovo Academy of Justice.

Consequently, in this meeting was discussed the drafting of a special module for this type of specific training and training of trainers, in order to create sustainability of trainings of this nature, which are held at the Kosovo Academy of Justice. 

The interlocutors agreed to continue identifying issues with common priorities in the field of profiled training, which will help strengthen the overall capacity of the Prosecutorial Council and the Kosovo prosecutorial system in general.
