The level of security and exchange of data across prosecutions is discussed
Prishtina, 23 February 2021 - The Deputy Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), Veton Shabani, held a meeting with members of standing committees, prosecutors and heads of the Secretariat and Unit of the KPC.
The meeting discussed the advancement of electronic data exchange between the Kosovo Police system and the Information Management System in the Prosecution Offices, eliminating the manual work process and problems that have arisen as a result of this action.
The level of data security was also discussed, since the use of CMIS has started since November 2018 and all cases are going to be registered in this system.
At the end of the meeting it was concluded that it is necessary to have regular meetings with prosecutors and institutions, with which it exchanges data, in order to advance electronic systems.
