Chairman of KPC and Chairman of KJC discuss for Strengthening Rule of Law in Kosovo

Prishtina, 4 February 2021 - The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Jetish Maloku, received in a meeting the Chairman of the Judicial Council, Skender Çoçaj, on which occasion they talked about the general developments within the justice system, with special focus on the common agendas of 2021.

The two leaders of the justice system expressed their full readiness to cooperate in strengthening and advancing law enforcement within their respective competencies, to bring about the necessary changes in the justice system, as well as to develop and advance coordination and strategic communication with internal and external factors.

Special attention in today's meeting was paid to the coordination of activities for legislative policies, coordination for the review and drafting of bylaws and other agendas of common interest, in order to increase the efficiency of the rule of law in Kosovo.

At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the KPC Maloku, thanked the Chairman of the KJC, Çoçaj, for the visit and discussions held in view of the positive impact of further development of the justice system in Kosovo.

On the other hand, the Chairman of the KJC congratulated the Chairman of the KPC for the new post, expressing the conviction that with his experience and professionalism he will push forward many important processes for the justice system in Kosovo in general and for prosecutorial in particular.
