Intensification of cooperation between the State Prosecutor and the KFOR mission in Kosovo is discussed


Prishtina, December 11, 2020 - The Chief State Prosecutor, Aleksander Lumezi, accompanied by the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina, Kujtim Munishi, received the new KFOR Commander, Major General, Franco Federici in a meeting.

Initially, the Chief State Prosecutor Lumezi congratulated Commander Federici on his new duty, expressing his gratitude and appreciation for the commitment of KFOR in providing service for peace and security in the Republic of Kosovo.

In addition, the Chief State Prosecutor informed the new KFOR Commander about the functioning, work, achievements and challenges of the State Prosecutor's institution in exercising its constitutional and legal powers in function of the rule of law, strengthening democracy, human rights and the protection of the common values ​​of European identity.

The Chief State Prosecutor, Aleksander Lumezi, and the Commander of KFOR, Major General, Franco Federici, praised the current inter-institutional cooperation and agreed to intensify it in the future, regarding issues of common interest within the institutional role and responsibilities.
