Implementation of CMIS (SMIL) at Mitrovica Basic Prosecution is discussed
Pristina, 13 August 2019 - In the framework of providing administrative support for the effective and efficient implementation of the Case Management Information System (CMIS), the General Director of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council Secretariat, Lavdim Krasniqi, accompanied by the Head of the Information Technology Department, Nexhat Haziri, visited the Basic Prosecution of Mitrovica, where he met with the Chief Prosecutor of this Prosecution, Shyqri Syla.
During this visit, the General Director of the SKPS, Lavdim Krasniqi, said that within his competencies he was in full service of advancing general trends for the implementation of CMIS at the Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica, offering all available opportunities and tools to expedite the process of registering old and current cases.
On the other hand, the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica, Shyqri Syla, said that he received all the necessary support from the KPC Secretariat to deliver training on the use of CMIS, capacity building of information technology officials, which will then directly affect the standardized data entry process in CMIS, and are recently coordinating the proper workflow for the implementation of this crucial system.
The meeting emphasized the need for a proper professional implementation of this modern system of data entry of the prosecutorial system, which affects many aspects, including enhancing transparency and performance of prosecutors and their evaluation after practical implementation of the Case Management Information System.
