The 185th meeting of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council is held
Prishtina, 23 September 2020 - Under the measures of protection from pandemic and through distance communication, the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), led by its Chairman, Bahri Hyseni, has held its 185th meeting in a row. At the beginning of this meeting, Prosecutor Laura Pula as a member of the Supervisory Committee reported for the first 6 months of 2020, on the implementation of the Strategic Plan and Action Plan for combating corruption and economic crimes, while the National Coordinator for Combating Economic Crime , Shqipdon Fazliu reported for the period April - June 2020, on the activities and recommendations of the National Coordinator for combating economic crime, reports which were approved by the KPC.
Further, KPC members have reviewed and approved the Regulation on protocolging, administration and archiving of documents in the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council..
The meeting continued with the reports of the chairpersons of the standing committees of the KPC, on the work of the committees they chair.
After the expiration of the mandate of the Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution, Haxhi Derguti, the members of the KPC appointed the same acting, until the election of the Chief Prosecutor of this Prosecution.
In this meeting, hearings were held for two disciplinary cases against two prosecutors of the Basic Prosecution of Prishtina and the relevant decisions were taken, which will be made public after they become final, as defined by law.
