Reaction from Kosovo Prosecutorial Council
Pristina, 30 October 2019- Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC) strongly condemns the physical attack on the Prosecutor of the General Department of the Basic Prosecution in Prizren, Mr. Artnor Skoro, an attack related to his official work.
For the KPC such acts against prosecutors are intolerable and are taken very seriously. KPC stands strong with Prosecutor Skoro and all prosecutors, supports them in their daily work and encourages them to fulfill their mission.
Therefore, all those who think that such acts will try to influence state prosecutors to refrain from prosecuting criminal offenses are wrong, because prosecutors will continue their work for which they have been sworn and which is obliged by the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kosovo.
The KPC also assures the public that this issue on the attack on Prosecutor Skoro will be dealt with priority by all competent authorities and the attacker will be brought to justice soon.
