The next meeting of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council is held
Pristina, June 17, 2020 - The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, chaired by its Chairman, Bahri Hyseni, held its 182nd meeting in a row, a meeting which was held under the protection measures against pandemics and through distance communication.
On this occasion, the members of the Prosecutorial Council have decided to establish investigative panels for two disciplinary cases for the prosecutors of the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina.
According to the lot, members of the first investigative panel will be:
1. Sevdije Morina, Deputy Prosecutor in the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, Head;
2. Shukri Jashari, Chief Prosecutor in the Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj - member and
3. Ismet Rrahmani, Prosecutor in the Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj – member;
Reserve members of the investigative panel will be:
1. Nijazi Rexha, Prosecutor in the Basic Prosecution of Mitrovica, and
2. Veton Shabani, Prosecutor in the Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj;
While members of the second investigative panel will be:
1. Besim Kelmendi, Prosecutor in the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, chairman;
2. Haxhi Derguti, Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution, member and
3. Xhevdet Bislimi, Prosecutor in the Appellate Prosecution – member;
The second reserve members of the investigative panel will be:
1. Admir Shala, Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution of Prizren and
2. Jetish Maloku, Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Gjilan;
Also, the members of the Council approved the Budget Request 2021-2023 and early assessments 2022-2023 and approved the Report on the evaluation of the performance of seven prosecutors with permanent mandate, and held a hearing on the case against a prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Peja.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Prosecutorial Council, Bahri Hyseni, informed the members that no candidate has applied to the public call for the position of Deputy Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
