Detention on remand is required against three persons for domestic violence and possession of narcotic substances
Gjilan, April 14, 2020 - The Basic Prosecution in Gjilan, General Department, has filed two (2) requests for detention on remand against three (3) persons, due to the suspicion that they have committed the criminal offenses of “Domestic Violence” and “Possession of unauthorized narcotics, psychotropic substances or analogues”, of the Criminal Code of Republic of Kosovo (CCRK).
One claim has been filed against suspect A.A., as it is suspected that on April 12, 2020, in Gjilan, has exercised physical violence against his wife, because of verbal quarrel, in the presence of their 3-year-old child, the same hits his wife by slapping and punching the injured party M.A., on the head, face and various parts of the body.
In this way, the suspect A.A., is suspected of having committed the criminal offense “Domestic Violence”, under Article 248 of the CCRK.
Whereas, the other request was filed against two other the suspects XH.M. and B.S., due to grounded suspicion that on April 12, 2020, at a bar in Gjilan, in an unauthorized manner possessed narcotic substance type "Marijuana", weighing 39.3 grams, which was seized by police officers.
With these actions, the same persons have committed the criminal offense "Unauthorized possession of narcotics, psychotropic substances or analogues '', under Article 269 of the CCRK.
