There was held the next meeting of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council
Prishtina, 16th of September 2016 – There was held the one-hundred-twentieth meeting of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), chaired by the Chairman of Prosecutorial Council, Blerim Isufaj.
Today, Kosovo Prosecutorial Council has appointed Haxhi Dërguti in the position of the Chief Prosecutor of Appellate Prosecution, and Reshat Millaku in the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosova.
Prior to appointment of the aforementioned Prosecutors, Chief State Prosecutor Aleksandër Lumezi, simultaneously Chairman of the Committee in charge of reviewing applications of Chief Prosecutors of those both Prosecutions, has reported regarding the respective.
National Coordinator in charge of fighting Economic Crimes, Shqipdon Fazliu, has reported before the members of Prosecutorial Council regarding the time period April-June 2016, and following the reporting, KPC members have approved the Quarter Report of the named Coordinator.
Today, KPC members have also approved the report of the Committee in charge of Transferring and Promoting State Prosecutors, simultaneously conducting promotions and transfers of Prosecutors.
KPC members have promoted in the Serious Crimes Prosecution Department of the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina, Prosecutors: Bukurije Gjonbalaj, Fitore Sadikaj, Ibrahim Berisha, Javorka Prlinćevič and Kujtim Munishi from the Basic Prosecution of Gjilan.
Whereas, from the Department for Minors in the Basic Prosecution of Prishtina have promoted: Sebahate Hoxha and Gjejrane Alaj.
KPC members have also promoted in the Serious Crimes Prosecution Department of the Basic Prosecution in Peja, Prosecutor of this Prosecution, Ardian Hajdaraj.
Prosecutor Arian Gashi has been transferred from the Department for Minors of the Basic Prosecution in Gjakova in the Serious Crimes Prosecution Department of the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina.
KPC members have also discussed and approved the Report of the Committee in charge of Overseeing the Unit for Fighting Corruption and Economic Crimes, including Sequestration and Confiscation of the Unlawfully Acquired Assets.
Today, KPC members have also assigned the Officer of the Prosecutors` Performance Assessment Unit, Ismije Maxhuni, in the position of the Coordinator for Appointment, Transfer and Promotion of State Prosecutors.
