Chairman Isufaj has met with members of the Committee on Legislation of Kosova Assembly
Prishtina, 19th of October 2016 – Today, Chairman of Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), Blerim Isufaj, has hosted in a meeting members of the Committee on Legislation of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosova, led by the Member of Parliament Armend Zemaj, simultaneously Chairman of the Working Group, and Members of Parliament Albulena Haxhiu, Selvije Halimi and Valdete Bajrami. The named Committee is in charge of overseeing implementation of the Law on Kosovo Judicial Council and Law on Kosovo Prosecutorial Council.
At the beginning of this meeting, members of the Committee on Legislation of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosova said that in addition to overseeing implementation of the Law on Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, they also aim establishment of a new relation with Justice System Institutions, which would also serve to building of as much functional and professional justice system as well.
Afterwards members have expressed their interest regarding the work of the Council, other Council Departments, Prosecutions and many processes that are taking place and which are expected to take place, and which also serve to implementation of the Law on KPC.
Chairman Isufaj following the greeting to members of the Committee on Legislation of Assembly of the Republic of Kosova for the work they have done and the one that they are doing in terms of completion of the legal basis for the prosecutorial system, has briefed on the performance of the Council, issued bylaws and all other accomplished activities; all those based on the Law on KPC.
