12 newly appointed prosecutors started initial training at the Academy of Justice
Pristina, 10 June 2019, The Justice Academy has officially started the Initial Training Program (ITP) for the newly appointed prosecutors, carrying out the first meeting with them.
In this meeting, the chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Mr. Bahri Hyseni, expressed the support of the KOC towards the newly appointed prosecutors, encouraging them for a maximum dedication and engagement during the initial training, and emphasized the importance of this training in their adequate preparation to exercise them fairly and professional prosecutor functions.
Director of the Academy of Justice, Valon Kurtaj, informed the new prosecutors of the role and importance of the initial training, for the development of professional and practical skills in order to prepare them adequately to exercise the function of the prosecutor.
Further, Mr. Kurtaj, in short points, elaborated the ITP structure, the way of organizing and realizing it, both the theoretical part, as well as the practical part, as well as other issues related to this program. He also expressed his willingness and of the Academy of Justice for continued support for newly appointed prosecutors so that the initial training is carried out in the best way.
Initial training will be followed by 12 newly appointed prosecutors.
