Meeting with administrators of the prosecution offices through videoconference is held
Pristina, June 11, 2019 - The General Director of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council Secretariat, Lavdim Krasniqi, held a meeting with the administrators of the prosecution offices through videoconference, which was also attended by the Director of the Prosecution Performance Review Unit and the administrative staff of the SKPC.
The purpose of the meeting was to coordinate the cooperation between organizational units of the KPC, the Office of Chief State Prosecutor and prosecution offices of all kinds with a special focus on oversight and ongoing discussion on advancing the implementation of the Case Management Information System (SMIL), registration of old cases, challenges in the processes ahead, targeted cases, and other issues, which have to do with the administration of the prosecutorial system.
On this occasion, the head of the Secretariat of the Council, Lavdim Krasniqi, has informed the prosecution administrators with new developments regarding the adoption of secondary legislation, which will affect the clarification of various procedures and increase efficiency and better planning of the work related to internal communication, including the coordination of various issues with the Council Secretariat, PPRU and other organizational units.
Administrators have also been informed of recent Council decisions dealing with prosecution management processes in Kosovo and the First Budget Request of the Prosecutorial System 2020-2022.
