The British project for strengthening the prosecutorial system is evaluated
Pristina, 18 June 2019- the deputy Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Mr. Arben Ismajli, the General Director of the Secretariat and Director of the Prosecution Performance Evaluation Unit, hosted in the meeting the experts of the British Project “ Strengthening the Judicial and Prosecutorial System in Kosovo” headed by the manager of this project, Mark Dikson.
At the beginning of this meeting, the deputy Chairman Ismajli thanked the representatives of the project for the support that are giving to the prosecutorial system of Kosovo, and evaluated the work being done through the project.
On the other hand, representatives of the British Project said that the cooperation with the KPC aims to increase the integrity of Kosovo Prosecutorial System and improve the efficiency and trust of the justice system in Kosovo.
The topic of this meeting was the framework in which to move forward in the fulfillment of the activities to be undertaken with regard to reforms.
It was also discussed about the formation of a working group, which will be led by Kosovo prosecutorial system, including elected Council members and the Secretariat management team, who will be assisted by British project members.
