Commission for Normative Issues: Working groups are formed for the drafting of four draft regulations
Prishtinë, 5 February 2024 - The Commission for Normative Issues, chaired by Mr. Armend Zenelaj, held the next meeting, in which members, the General Director of the KPC Secretariat and representatives of UNDP and the EU Office in Kosovo participated.
At today's meeting, the draft of the Regulation on the Establishment of the Asset Recovery Office was initially approved, which will provide assistance and advice in tracking assets, cooperation with financial institutions and international cooperation in achieving the goals of returning assets acquired through criminal offence. On this occasion, the chairman of the Commission thanked the international partners for the support they have provided in relation to the drafting of this regulation and the comments received during the public hearing have been incorporated into the draft that will be proposed to the Prosecutorial Council for approval.
Also, the Commission established working groups for the drafting of normative acts, foreseen according to the Commission's work plan for the year 2024, and among these drafts that will be drawn up are: The Regulation on Recruitment Procedures for Admission to the Prosecutorial System, the Regulation on the Classification of Job positions, the Regulation on Personnel Planning and the Regulation on the Creation and Composition of the Disciplinary Commission.
