The ceremony of handing over and accepting the position of the Chairman of the Prosecutorial Council is held
Prishtinë, 1 February 2024 - With an official ceremony, held at the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, today the solemn handing over and acceptance of the position of the chairman of the KPK was done between the current chairman, Mr. Jetish Maloku and the elected chairman, Mr. Ardian Hajdaraj.
In his welcoming speech, Mr. Maloku wished success to the newly elected chairman, emphasizing the challenges and achievements during his three-year mandate and, at the same time, thanked all the employees of the prosecution system for the fruitful cooperation during this period of time.
After the official acceptance of the position, Chairman Hajdaraj, thanking Mr. Maloku for his contribution, dedication and tireless work during his mandate, underlined that, during his work, he will always keep in mind the importance of the independence of the prosecutorial system and its constitutional and legal role in the service of advancing the rule of law in Kosovo.
Mr. Hajdaraj was elected chairman at the 241st Meeting of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and his mandate is two years (2024-2025).
