The advancement and intensification of communication with the public is discussed
Prishtinë, 31 January 2024 – The General Director of the Secretariat of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (SKPC), Mr. Sami Istrefi, held a meeting with the officials of the public communication service in the prosecutorial system, in which the Chief of Cabinet of the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Ardian Nikola.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the advancement, intensification and creation of a new approach to communication with the media and the public in the prosecutorial system of Kosovo.
On this occasion, the General Director of SKPC, Mr. Sami Istrefi, revealing the priorities and objectives related to the field of public communication, emphasized the need for the prosecutorial system to strengthen transparency through a more proactive and comprehensive communication with the media and civil society, adapting to the needs and demands of the time, because such an approach is necessary for raising and improving the public's credibility and perception of the prosecutorial system in general.
In this meeting, the public communication officers are presented with the challenges and needs they have during the performance of their official duties in the function of informing the public with the work of the State Prosecutor.
In this regard, the head of the administration of the prosecutorial system, Mr. Istrefi, has expressed his full support for the work and commitment of public communication officials in the prosecutorial system, at the same time, he has emphasized his readiness to, within legal and budgetary possibilities, address all the challenges faced by these officials, so that their working conditions are improved and that communication with the public is at the most professional level.
