The Chairman of the Commission for the Administration of Prosecutions of the KPC hosted the Executive Assistant of the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois
Prishtinë, 25 January 2024- The Chairman of the Commission for the Administration of Prosecutions, Mr. Veton Shabani, together with the member of the Commission, Mrs. Sevdije Morina, hosted the Executive Assistant of the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illionis, Mrs. Meghan Morrisey, who was accompanied by the Resident Legal Advisor at the US Embassy in Kosovo, Mr. Erin Cox and Senior Legal Officer at OPDAT, Ms. Benina Kusari.
Mr. Shabani thanked Ms. Morrisey for her visit, appreciating the systematic assistance and support of the US Embassy to prosecutorial institutions in order to strengthen the rule of law, as well as informed her about the activities of the Commission, with the aim of increasing the efficiency of work, raising the quality of the data and digitizing the work in the prosecutorial system by using CMIS, as well as the general goals for the advancement of the work in the prosecutor's offices of the country.
During today's meeting of the Chairman of the Commission for the Administration of Prosecutions and the members of this commission with the American expert, the management and performance of the country's prosecutions and the efficient and effective fulfillment of work tasks and the acquisition of knowledge in leadership and management were discussed.
