The General Director of the KPC Secretariat hosted the representatives of the Rule of Law Sector at the Embassy of Great Britain in an introductory meeting
Prishtinë, 17 January 2024 – The General Director of the Secretariat of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Mr. Sami Istrefi, has received the representatives of the Rule of Law Sector at the Embassy of Great Britain in Pristina, Mrs. Margaret Belof and Mrs. Altina Besimi.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the cooperation so far and to find ways to provide the necessary support and cooperation in the future processes aimed at overcoming the difficulties and challenges in the administration of the prosecutorial system.
In advance, the General Director of SKPC, Mr. Sami Istrefi, thanked the Head of the Rule of Law Sector at the British Embassy, Mrs. Margaret Belof and the official of this sector, Mrs. Altina Besimi, for the contribution made towards the advancement of the processes of the administration of the prosecutorial system, simultaneously requesting their further support in the activities planned for 2024.
The representatives of the British Embassy emphasized on this occasion that this cooperation will continue, as provided for in the framework of joint projects and other projects for the justice system by providing the necessary expertise.
The General Director and representatives of the British Embassy agreed at the end of today's meeting to coordinate joint activities for the efficient addressing of strategic issues, which are related to the improvement of the quality of administrative services.
