The second meeting of the working group for the drafting of the regulation of the OPAV is held
Pristina, December 7, 2023 - The working group for the drafting of the Regulation on the Mandate, Structure, Functioning and Organization of the Office for Protection and Assistance to Victims, held its next meeting, which was chaired by the Prosecutor in the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Bahri Hyseni,
This meeting was attended by prosecutors from the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina, the representative of the American Embassy, officials of the KPC, OCSP and OPAV.
Even in today's meeting, the drafting of this regulation continued, in which case the mandate, structure, operation and organization of OPAV, this office, which is competent for providing services to crime victims during legal procedures and representation of their interests in the criminal justice system in cases provided by law and in civil cases.
The members of this working group will deal with the special ethical standards in the next meeting, in which case the full finalization of the draft and its proceeding for approval in the KPC is expected.
