The Draft Regulation on Access to Public Documents of the Prosecutorial System is finalized
Prishtinë, 9 November 2023 – The Commission for Normative Issues of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, led by Mr. Armend Zenelaj, held the next meeting, in which the members of the commission, the representative of the American Embassy and the representative of the EU Office in Pristina participated.
After the discussions held today, the members of the Commission for Normative Issues concluded the work on the drafting of the Regulation on Access to Public Documents of the Prosecutorial System, emphasizing that this by-law is one of the most important documents for the implementation of public transparency of the Prosecutorial Council and the State Prosecutor.
At the end of the meeting, the chairman of this commission expressed his gratitude for the contribution of international partners in the drafting of this act, which was drafted in accordance with the relevant law and other legal acts, as well as based on the standards and best practices of the access to public documents.
