The next meeting of the Commission for Normative Issues is held
Prishtinë, 6 November 2023 – The Commission for Normative Issues of the Prosecution Council of Kosovo, led by prosecutor Armend Zenelaj, held the next meeting today, in which members of this commission, representatives of the American Embassy and the EU Office in Kosovo and the KPC leaders of administrative units participated.
Initially, the members of the Commission for Normative Issues approved the Draft Regulation on the Internal Organization and Functioning of the State Prosecutor and, according to the agenda, discussed and analyzed the content of the Draft Regulation on Access to Public Documents, which aims to define the procedure and ways of allowing public access to public documents of the prosecutorial system.
Also, during today's meeting, the comments of international partners were also incorporated, these comments, which will influence the provision of the most practical approach based on the best international standards.
At the end of the discussions regarding this draft, it was said that in the next meeting the finalization will be achieved and the same will be processed for approval in one of the meetings of the KPC.
