THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMMISSION FOR PROSECUTION ADMINISTRATION IS HELD

Prishtinë, 31 October 2023 - The Commission for the Administration of Prosecutions of the Kosovo prosecutorial Council, led by Mr. Veton Shabani, held the next meeting, in which members of this Commission, representatives of the EU Office and the Council of Europe in Kosovo participated, and also the leaders of the SKPC administrative units.

In the meeting, it was first discussed about the easier and more accessible generation of statistical reports in CMIS and the evaluation of the manual reports which are drawn up by the Prosecution Performance Review Unit, in which case the need for their adequate evaluation was emphasized and intensifying work on their simplification for cases, according to best international practices and standards, in order to move as quickly as possible to statistical reports generated by CMIS.

Following the meeting, the tasks of the CMIS users working group of the prosecutorial system were discussed regarding the concrete proposals for improving the work process during data entry and generally for the consolidation, development and full functionalization of CMIS. The members of this Commission approved the list of 8 members of the Working Group of CMIS users, which they will propose to the Prosecutorial Council for approval in one of the next meetings.

Also, the members of the Commission for the Administration of Prosecutions approved the requirements for the advancement of CMIS and discussed the informative views of this information system for prosecutors regarding accepted cases, pending cases, resolved and unresolved cases, as well as the average of resolved cases, according to the type of records.
