FOUR CANDIDATES ARE INTERVIEWED FOR CHIEF PROSECUTOR OF THE BASIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE OF GJAKOVA

Prishtinë, 19 October 2023 – The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council has organized the process of interviewing the candidates for Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Gjakova.

The Evaluation Panel for the selection of the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution of Gjakova, which consists of five members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and is chaired by the Chairman of the KPC, Jetish Maloku, has interviewed four candidates who have applied and been confirmed for the position of Chief Prosecutor of Basic Prosecutor's Office of Gjakova.

Candidates for the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Gjakova are the following prosecutors: Anton Hasanaj, Ardita Beqiraj-Hyseni, Dëshirë Jusaj and Enis Gashi.

The process of interviewing the candidates for Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Gjakova was monitored by representatives of the American Embassy, the Mission for the Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) and the EU Program for the Justice Sector in Kosovo (EUKOJUST).

The Evaluation Panel, after the process of interviewing, evaluation and reasoning, will propose the successful candidates to the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council for voting.
