Chairman Maloku hosted the representatives of the High Council of the Prosecution of Albania in a meeting
Prishtinë, 21 September 2023 – The Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), Mr. Jetish Maloku, accompanied by the Vice-Chairman and the chairperson of the commissions of the KPC, received the Chairman of the High Council of the Prosecution of Albania (KLPSH), Alfred Balla, the vice-chairman and members of the KLPSH and other prosecutors.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the closeness of experiences and good practices and research the forms of bilateral cooperation, in order to advance the work processes in both countries.
On this occasion, Chairman Maloku informed Chairman Balla about the processes of constitutional and legal functioning, emphasizing the commitment of the KPC and its mechanisms for further cooperation.
In the framework of today's conversation, the representatives of the High Prosecution Council of Albania were particularly interested in the work methodology related to the procedures and the process of performance, assessment and discipline of state prosecutors in the Republic of Kosovo, in which case the Deputy Chairman of the KPC -, the chairman of the Commission for the Evaluation of the Performance of Prosecutors and that of the Commission for Normative Acts, have informed them about the aspects of the advancement made and the support provided by international partners.
The integrated data systems that are generated digitally were also discussed and the need to intensify cooperation was emphasized, even though the realism of joint meetings of the relevant councils, delegation and appointment of members and representatives from both councils of the states to cooperate on issues of special interest.
