The Deputy Chairman of the Prosecutorial Council visits the Regional Police Directorate in Pristina
Prishtinë, 7 September 2023 - The Deputy Chairman of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), at the same time the Chairman of the Commission for the Administration of Prosecutions, Mr. Veton Shabani, with associates, visited the Regional Police Directorate in Prishtina, where he was received in a meeting by the Director of this Directorate, Mr. Basri Shabani, with associates.
Today's visit was carried out within the framework of mutual cooperation related to the electronic exchange of data through the systems that have been implemented, in which case issues of common interest were discussed and, consequently, the challenges faced by prosecutorial institutions and those of the Kosovo Police.
Especially, during this meeting, the aspects related to the provision of personal numbers for all types of parties, their registration, the registration of criminal offenses, the careful handling of duplication of cases (especially those of economic crimes) were discussed in detail, attaching adequate documents and sending physical copies to the prosecutor's office, as necessary procedures that facilitate joint work in the relations between the Prosecutor's Office and the Police.
Also, at the end of the meeting, the two interlocutors, Mr. Veton Shabani and Mr. Basri Shabani, expressed their joint commitment to strengthening and advancing further cooperation in the fight against any crime that appears.
