Gjilan, September 12, 2024 – The Basic Prosecution in Gjilan, in cooperation with the Regional Unit for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption in Gjilan, has detained the suspect F.N. for 48 hours on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of “Falsifying Documents” as defined by Article 390 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
There is suspicion that the suspect F.N. obtained and used a driver’s license from the Republic of Kosovo, which is suspected to have been forged and did not go through the proper legal procedures for issuance by the relevant authorities. The suspect allegedly acquired the license from an unknown individual by paying a sum of 400 euros.
Under the prosecutor’s order, the suspect is under a 48-hour detention, and within the legal timeframe, a decision will be made regarding the measures to ensure his presence during criminal proceedings.
