Gjilan, September 18, 2024 – The Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan, Department for Serious Crimes, has filed an indictment against the defendant E.A., for the criminal offense of “Cultivation of the hashish plant, the cocaine bush, or cannabis plants,” under Article 272, paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo (CCRK).
According to the indictment, in the municipality of Vitia, on August 29, 2024, at around 10:30 a.m., it was found that the defendant E.A., without authorization, cultivated cannabis plants near his residence, planting nine (9) narcotic plants of the species “Cannabis Sativa,” ranging in height from 80 to 210 cm, with the intention of producing narcotic substances.
The Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan has proposed to the court that the defendant be found guilty of the criminal offense with which he is charged.
