Prishtina, December 26, 2024 – The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo welcomes today’s verdict of the Special Department of the Basic Court in Pristina, in which the accused Çedomir Aksić, in absentia, was found guilty of the criminal offense of War Crimes against the Civilian Population.
Today’s decision is a victory for justice in general and for the victims of this atrocious crime in particular.
The Special Prosecution’s remains committed to investigating all war crimes cases in Kosovo, regardless of the time that has passed. Therefore, it calls on all those who have information regarding criminal offenses committed during the war to present it to law enforcement agencies.
