Prishtinë, 30 April 2025 – The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC), led by Chairman Ardian Hajdaraj, held its 266th meeting today, in which a number of important issues for the functioning and development of the prosecutorial system of the Republic of Kosovo were reviewed and approved..

During this meeting, the Council:

  1. Approved the Strategic Plan of the Prosecutorial System for the years 2025–2027 and formed the Group for monitoring the implementation of the Strategic Plan and the Action Plan;
  2. Approved amendments and supplements to the War Crimes Strategy;
  3. Approved the Regulation amending and supplementing Regulation No. 02/2021 on the transfer and promotion of state prosecutors;
  4. Approved the Regulation amending and supplementing the Regulation on the establishment and functionality of the National Coordinator for Combating Economic Crime and appointed Prosecutor Kujtim Munishi to the position of National Coordinator for Combating Economic Crime, with a three-year mandate with the possibility of extension for another mandate;
  5. Approved the Report of the Commission for Transfer and Advancement for the advancement of a prosecutor to the Department for Serious Crimes in the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica and promoted prosecutor Albana Parduzi to this department;
  6. Approved the Report of the Commission for Transfer and Advancement for the advancement of a prosecutor to the Department for Serious Crimes in the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren and rejected the relevant objection to this report, and advanced prosecutor Atnor Skoro to this department;
  7. Announced a public competition for the recruitment of twenty-one (21) candidates for state prosecutors in the basic prosecutor’s offices of the Republic of Kosovo, this competition, which will be open from May 19 to June 1, and formed the Commission for the Recruitment of New State Prosecutors and the Review Commission.
  8. Approved the request of the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina for an internal announcement for the transfer of two (2) prosecutors from the country’s prosecution offices to the Juvenile Department of this prosecution office.;
  9. Announced the retirement age of prosecutor Huma Jetishi at the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan and decided to send a request to the President for her release from duty;
  10. approved the form for drafting complaints about disciplinary violations of state prosecutors;
  11. Approved the Final Report KVPP/403/2025 on the performance evaluation of five (5) prosecutors with an initial mandate and proposed their reappointment, deciding to send the proposal to the President for decree with a permanent mandate;
  12. Approved the Final Report KVPP/404/2025 on the performance evaluation of six (6) prosecutors with permanent mandate;
  13. rejected the request of the Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Peja to initiate investigations against a prosecutor in case AD.nr. 5/25 and approved the request to initiate investigations against a prosecutor in case AD.nr. 6/25, and established the relevant investigative panel for the latter case;
  14. Approved the request of the Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica for the extension of the temporary transfer of two prosecutors for a period of six (6) months.;
  15. Approved the Report of the Working Group on the implementation of the decision of the DPSKKP No. 199/2025, dated April 1, 2025;
  16. approved the request of the Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution Office for out-of-hours lecture.
