Announcement from the PSRK regarding changing of the security measure against the defendant Dejan Pantiq
Prishtinë, 28 dhjetor 2022 – The Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo informs the public that based on the request of this prosecution office, on 12.12.2022, the Basic Court in Prishtinë has ordered detention for the defendant Dejan Pantiq, for the criminal offense "Terrorist attack".
Although there was a decision to order detention against the defendant, due to the already known circumstances, he was never sent to detention as required by law.
After being checked out by EULEX medical teams, who recommended hospitalization due to the defendant bad health condition, however this recommendation was not implemented either.
The Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo, based on the health conditions, at the same time the human aspect, has proposed to the Basic Court in Prishtinë, changing the order for detention for the defendant Pantiq, since he was unable to enjoy the rights that belong to detainees in detention centers.
